Frequently Asked Questions:
- How much do you charge? Rental rates start at $500 for up to 3 hrs. For events over 3 hrs it is $125/hr for each additional hr. If your event is longer than 5 hrs, contact us for day rate pricing. Train rental includes pulling vehicle, conductor and 6 train cars. We can work with you for any event from Birthday Parties to Church Festivals, Fundraisers, Parades, Corporate Advertising, and County/State Festivals and Fairs. We may also be available on a pay-per-ride basis at festivals and fairs.
- Are you insured? Yes, we carry a one million dollar Liability Insurance policy and Certificates of Insurance are provided upon request.
- What type of terrain can you operate on? This is a trackless train pulled by an ATV, UTV, or garden tractor so we are equally at home on pavement, concrete, or in a grassy field.
- What is provided when you bring the train to an event? Six train cars, a vehicle to pull the train (generally an ATV, UTV, or garden tractor), a tent with banners for train station and staging area, and the train conductor to operate the train. For larger events there may be more than one train attendant and additional train cars.
- What areas do you operate in? Local events for us would be considered the Ocala, Gainesville, and Leesburg area however we do travel throughout Florida for Festivals and Events.
- What is your Weather Cancellation Policy? Events are Rain or Shine and balance of contract less any deposit is due at conclusion of event. In the case of event cancellation due to reasonable and acceptable foul weather, any payment made by the customer will be fully refunded if cancelled 24 hrs in advance of the event. If the event is cancelled after Tim's Train Rides leaves for the event, any payments/deposits become non-refundable.
